Hello Friends,
I would like to begin building this website by sharing with you some of the wonderful things I have been reading
or listening to, so here is a sampling:
There is an intuitive knowledge of the different nuances of the soul and of the spirit of man that requires illumination
for the believer to recognize. (See Hebrews 4:12) Unfortunately many believers live exclusively from the soul as
their source because they have never been taught or realized they have a spirit. Also they do not know how to walk by
means of that spirit because they recognize no difference between the movings of the soul (mind, will and emotions) and that
of the Spirit of God, indwelling and moving in their spirit........Mary Wilkinson
Dead works are works that seek to establish a righteousness based upon personal attainment rather than a righteousness
that is imputed to us as a gift...If this is the case, we will never feel accepted by the Lord. We consciously or unconsciously
examine our conduct to find a reason to feel better about ourselves or to feel closer to the Lord. We strive to attain acceptance
by some means of our own.
Do I have rest in God because I have adjusted my conduct or is my spirit in a CONSTANT state of life and peace because
of the blood-bought righteousness won for me at Calvery?
